Introduction

GSpace is a client application for browsing and managing files in cloud storage. This Privacy Policy explains how GSpace handles data and what choices you have.

1) Types of data collected

• Developer-collected data: None. GSpace does not collect, receive, or store users’ personal data, account information, files, file metadata, device telemetry, IP addresses, or logs on developer-controlled servers.
• Local device data: GSpace may create local caches, thumbnails, or temporary files on your device to support app functionality (previewing, offline use). These files remain on your device.
• Cloud/storage interactions: GSpace acts as a client connecting directly to the cloud/storage provider you configure (Google Cloud Storage). The developer does not take ownership of, receive, or store your files or file metadata.
• Permissions: If you grant permissions (storage access), the app uses them on your device only. GSpace does not require camera, microphone, or location permissions.

2) Purpose of data handling

Local caches and temporary files are used only to provide browsing, previewing, uploading, downloading, thumbnail generation, and UI settings. Purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. Ads (if enabled) are managed by ad providers (Google Mobile Ads).

3) Data usage

The developer does not use or process your files or account data. Local caches are used only on device. Any data exchanged with cloud providers is governed by that provider's policy.

4) Data storage and security

The developer does not operate backend servers that store your files. App caches are stored in app directories on your device. Communications use HTTPS/TLS. The developer does not retain logs or backups.

5) Data sharing and disclosure

GSpace may display ads using Google Mobile Ads. Ad providers may collect device identifiers or usage signals; this is controlled by the ad provider’s policies. Purchase data is handled by Google Play. Legal disclosures limited to lawful requests.

6) User rights and choices

Files remain under your control at your cloud provider (Google Cloud Storage). To remove local caches, clear app data or uninstall. Purchase management via Google Play. Contact: GSpace.App@techie.com.
